Bopara, Kieswetter and Dernbach earn contracts

Ravi Bopara, Jade Dernbach and Craig Kieswetter was granted an increase of agreements with the ECB follows the British performance during the season, confirmed the case are an integral part of the team's plans for the future.

All three are currently in India before the one-day series, even Kieswetter is still with Somerset, which is in the semifinals of the Champions League. Kieswetter regained his place in England for the series against Sri Lanka earlier this year to have been abandoned in the summer of 2010, which led to his death from the World Cup. He has played 11 one-day internationals against Sri Lanka, India and Ireland, where he scored 354 runs at 35.40, and also appeared in four Twenty20.

Bopara, meanwhile, revived his international career with an impressive one-day series against India, who also broke into the Test side following an injury to Jonathan Trott's shoulder. He was top goalscorer in England when they beat India 3-0 with 197 runs at 65.66 including a career-best 96 in the draw to the Lord.

Dernbach, 25, debuted in England against Sri Lanka, Twenty20, Bristol, and has quickly established itself as a key member of the team is limited over the displays impressive. He helped to seal a one-day series against Sri Lanka at Old Trafford and then took on April 22 T20 against India in the same place. He also starred in the ODI against Ireland and two late-season T20 with the West Indies.

Contracts increase the economic benefits reach far less than the complete center contracts awarded annually by the ECB, but are a good guide for players made the most significant advances.
