Delhi Unmukt Chand was appointed captain of the India under-19 players for the quadrangular series in Visakhapatnam replace Maharashtra Bawn Ankit, who was appointed captain at the time of publication of the team Sept. 18. A statement from the BCCI said there was a lag between the date of birth as mentioned in the Bawn BCCI database and his passport after being omitted from the squad.

Chand made his debut Ranji Trophy season and scored a century past against the railroads in the fourth game. An aggressive opener, was signed by the Delhi daredevils IPL, but played only two games. Shreyas Gopal Karnataka was included in the team instead of Bawn.

Harmeet, left-arm spinner, impressed in his first two Ranji Trophy matches 2009-10, when 12 wickets, and then bagged his first of five for the 2010-11 season. The team is left arm spinner Delhi, Vikas Mishra, who took 18 wickets in the Ranji season 2010-11. Deobrat score 191 runs an average of 63.66 and strike-share of 84.51 during the 2010-11 campaign Vijay Hazare Trophy succeeded in Jharkhand.

The tournament will also feature under-19 teams from Australia, West Indies and Sri Lankato and will be played between September 27 and October 9.
