Final day of confusion, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has finally confirmed that the tour will go ahead as planned in the UAE, where he will face Pakistan.

SLC Interim Committee is puzzled by the government of Pakistan and the United Cricket Board, announcing that it had not been confirmed by the United Arab Emirates as a place, and he was persuaded to play for Pakistan in Sri Lanka instead. However, SLC spokesman Brian Thomas has confirmed that the series, which is hosted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), goes as planned.

Upali Dharmadasa, SLC interim committee chairman, said the committee will reflect on the scene before completion, leaving those responsible for the PCBs, which had already begun preparations to host the show, surprised.

"Sri Lanka will play home series in Pakistan in the UAE," said Thomas Tribune The Express. "The series will take place as planned, and SLC does not intend to propose a change of venue. "

The kit includes three Tests, five one-day internationals and Twenty20 which starts on October 15.

Sharjah yet to get approval

Meanwhile, Sharjah cricket stadium, which has not hosted an international top flight in a few years, is still in the approval of the PCB as a place for the next round.

A PCB official said that although Sri Lanka had no problem to play in Dubai, the renovation of the stadium needed to meet international standards.

"The PCB has sent a team, and stressed the need for facilities, ask management to make improvements in the conditions of the stadium," said the official. "There is still time and hope that things will be resolved that can Sharjah as one of the places in the series."
