Big Picture

Kolkata Knight Riders have finally arrived. After an unconvincing win against Auckland T20 Champions League qualifying and three consecutive defeats, the team against Bangalore Royal Challengers click on Thursday. Popular Players with six wickets in the first 15 overs and kept the run rate below 7.00 before the final explosion inevitable. The higher order, except for a few strokes of Brad Haddin ugly from the start, have been effective.

The question remains, however, has everything to come together a little too late for Knight Rider? It is still low implementation rates and net results go their way further. They all but destroyed their rate went negative net easing past the Royal Challengers, but to have a chance of a semifinal berth, will need another big win against a team that has seen the best unit CLT20 up 'to: Warriors. In game one against Royal Challengers, the Warriors showed they were cold work their way out of a difficult situation. In their second match, they blew away South Australia. A win here would all but guarantee them a place in the semifinals.

In a side note, Mark Boucher made it clear he wants to use this tournament as a platform to boost its International Limited overs career. With South Africa's wicketkeeper AB de Villiers picked up an injury Wednesday during a practice session with the Royal Challengers, Boucher will be eager to make a difference in this fight.

Watch ...

Johan Botha followed his match-turning partnership with Ashwell Prince Royal Challengers against a suffocating fate of the three against South Australia, where he took office Michael Klinger and conceded only 11 runs. It boasts the best economy rate (minimum 200 overs) in the shortest format - 6.01 - short runs and 24 runs in Twenty20 1000. Does it cross the milestone on Saturday?

After returning from a bad concussion, Gautam Gambhir looked scratchy short period of time spent in the same kind of the last two Knight Rider 'matches. Against the Royal Challengers, even though it seemed to touch her again, spinners and steering sixes easily stroked down to earth. After his return to form is a big boost for half the fight for survival.

Team News

Knight Riders won their opening combinations just on Thursday - Jacques Kallis bowling Haddin in the front and on top of the batting order has worked well. Finally found some rhythm seems, it seems unlikely that they can handle much time with their XI. A change that is reflected is the possibility of experience to Jaydev Unadkat L Balaji, who went to the abundance against the Royal Challengers.

Warriors only one change in their last game, the player Kelly Smuts in place of Justin Kreusch lower order, and it is unlikely to adjust their line-up well here either. The big punch Craig Thyssen was dismissed cheaply in both games, but since he has not had much chance to go, he should play.
