BCCI and ICC have confirmed the DRS is not used for the next series of one day international and one-off Twenty20 international between India and England. Warren, Brennan, CEO of the BBG Sports, the company behind the Hot Spot, said ESPNcricinfo October 5 that they would make the technology available in the series. As a hot spot was at least the DRS during the annual conference of the ICC in June, the ICC said there should be reviews of the India England series.
Brennan admitted BBG Sports has been disappointed with the performance during the tour hot spot of India to England and said he believed that "it does not support BCCI" for technology, after this series. Since DRS will not be used, do not require an arbitrator from the ICC panel of elite to be the third arbitrator. Therefore, they said Simon Taufel will not be obliged to act in the fighting and Billy Bowden will be the only umpire from the elite panel to stay in the series.
