Tasmania 5 for 66 (Harris 3-34) and 129 (Reardon 3-14, Cutting 3-24) v Queensland 287
Queensland ripped out 15 Tasmanian wickets in a single day to be within reach of an innings victory over the Tigers at stumps on day two of the Sheffield Shield match at the Gabba.
The Bulls had been content with 287 after the first day on a seaming pitch, and the confidence soon looked well-placed as Ryan Harris, Steve Magoffin, Ben Cutting and Nathan Reardon all zipped the ball around to have Tasmania following on.
A first innings of 129 did not appear likely to get improved upon in the second as Harris moved the ball both ways, catching Nick Kruger's outside edge then bowling Mark Cosgrove and James Faulkner with deliveries that came back into them - the Tigers limped to 5 for 66 at the close.
Harris is playing in the match as part of his preparation for Australia's Test series in South Africa, and he appeared in excellent rhythm in helpful conditions. Cutting and Magoffin also generated plenty of bounce and movement, while Reardon's four wickets for the day included three of the four visiting batsmen to reach 20.
The fourth, Alex Doolan, is unbeaten on 27, and Tasmania's faint hopes of salvaging something from the Gabba rest squarely on his shoulders.
