BCCI election was a direct relationship with any of the strains of more than one candidate. Sanjay Jagdale, the current joint secretary of the board of directors, was appointed to take N Srinivasan as Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors, the opinion of the Secretary of the BCCI. Other candidates are Anurag Thakur post of secretary and treasurer common Ajay Shirk.

Three of the five vice presidents of the area have been re-appointed to the position. Arun Jaitley will remain representative of the north, while Niranjan Shah Shivlal Yadav and continue to represent the south and west, respectively. Chitrak Mitra, an official of the Cricket Association of Bengal, Arindam Ganguly will replace the head while Sudhir Dahir, former president of the Cricket Associton Vidharba, will take over from Rajiv Shukla as the vice president of the central region. Dahir of appointment is another indication that Shukla will be released as the new chairman of the IPL BCCI annual general meeting on Monday. All appointments shall be appointed for a period of three years.

Besides the election of officers, the Board will make appointments to all its various subcommittees, including the selection committee for the year 2011-12. Kris Srikkanth, the chairman of selection committee is likely to have his mandate extended by a fourth and final year, but Yashpal Sharma is a term and Mohinder Amarnath, who is currently one of the two former cricketers in the IPL committee, could be a replacement for the Northern Zone. Other agenda items include the appointment of a full-time executive director for the national team and the representative of the Board or a representative to meetings of the ICC.

Ranjib Biswal pioneer is designed for the post of secretary, but does not enjoy unanimous support of trade unions to the east, and is believed to have cost him the nomination. Biswal also not held true source of the government and the association has suggested that the more experience Jagdale ESPNcricinfo was the point in its favor.

Before becoming co-secretary, Jagdale had served on the National Selection Committee from 2000 to 2006.
