Former drummer of India Vinod Kamble announced his retirement from first class cricket. Kamble, 39, had already retired from international cricket in 2009.

"Until last year, I was eager to go [in domestic cricket]. I served in Mumbai for a long time, but the selectors ignored me. I'm disappointed," said Kamble. "I wanted to play alongside Sachin [Tendulkar] by Last time, I wanted to play in the IPL, but unfortunately it did not. "

Kamble made his first class debut in Mumbai in 1989 and played 129 games, scoring 9965 runs an average of 59.67 including 35 centuries. He last played in the National Senior Cricket 2004-05.
