Shakib Al Hasan, the Bangladesh allrounder, has said the conditions in Mirpur would favour his side more than West Indies in the series starting this week. Shakib, who last month was relieved of the captaincy, was also bullish about Bangladesh's chances during the series.

"I don't see many problems in Mirpur," he said after training at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. "We have played in England and also against Australia here, so I don't think the short ball is much of a problem for us."

On his return from Kolkata Knight Riders T20 Champions' League, Shakib insisted that it was not a burnout. "I'm very relaxed. I can not think of myself as more [now that I'm not the captain]. I think I'm cool enough. After all," Oh, I'm tired mentally. "Nothing beats".

Chakib also called for more international Twenty20 matches for Bangladesh. His side have only played 16 international matches, T20 so far as Zimbabwe, but less than half the amount of testing of other nations have played. "No matter how much we are working, the best way is to play many matches. We play International T20s after 3-6 months. It becomes difficult to adjust. If we play regularly, at least one piece each series, us much good. "

Bangladesh lost both tests and one-day series against Zimbabwe, the history of international involvement, but Shakib said the team was better prepared for this series. "I think the preparation was very good. We played many games, the tournament was a [BCB Cup]. We were all committed during the tests."

Bangladesh was the last time West Indies won the World Cup, when they were hit by 58 Shakib said the loss will not play in the minds of batsmen. "It 'sa challenge for the batsmen, if we could do well against them, our confidence has greatly improved. But I think our batsmen have the courage to produce goods.

"Our team has beaten them to be careful and disciplined in their bowler hats hand, if they want to do the same. I think 150-160 is good here, in total, on average, is a good score. Make Big Score is difficult in this country because it is quite large. One needs a lot of power to clear the rope here. "
