Scorecard

For the second time in two days, Scotland won the rain affected game in Windhoek, where you clicked the Duckworth Lewis method-in service.

Winning the toss and batting first, Namibia overcame the loss of their starters in order to build gradually. Sarel Burger led his progress with 82 of 109 bullets, but the basis of the entries was Captain Craig Williams, who was fed to 116 from 117 balls. The pair added 191 in 35.3 overs to set Namibia on the road for a big total. Williams hit five of six and four feet, eight tickets. Gordon Goudie hit with a flurry of wickets late to keep Namibia to 266 for 8 and, in retrospect, the lack of a finishing flourish could cost them the game.

Scotland had a good start in the hunt, despite the early loss of Fraser Watts, and were driven along the 101 for 2 in 24 overs when rain fell. The revised target of 247 from 45 overs meant Josh Davey and Kyle Coetzer was forced to accelerate the pace of scoring after the break. Coetzer caught within two points of a century, but its release was announced a half-sleeve Davey found difficult to meet the requirement. Richie Berrington (41 from 27 balls) and Gordon Drummond (19 of 9) turned the game around with playful cameos, but before Goudie took a couple of boundaries to move Scotland at home with a spare ball
