-Left arm fast bowler Ashish Nehra said he was deeply hurt after being left out of the squad in India for the first two ODIs against England. Nehra lost the last World Cup with a broken finger and was out of action since. However, he said in shape and has returned to training, and said he presented the certificate of fitness as well.

"We still do not know exactly where I went wrong after the Indian Supreme wickettaker in ODIs since my return in 2009," he told PTI. "In addition, until a meeting in Pakistan, where I broke my fingers, I have not had problems with major injuries."

Since his return, Nehra is MS Dhoni's go-to man during Powerplay beat over and when the effort is in the final few moves. "Check the record, which is the maximum step-over in India bowler to death over the past two years," said Nehra.

Well known for his recurring injuries, Nehra had a fairly consistent course in the team for two years after his return before he injured his finger attempting a low level of Misbah-ul-Haq in the World Cup semi-final. He had a rib injury between the two, but that only cost him appearances IPL.

World Cup semi-final against Pakistan, which annoyed Nehra 10 overs for 33 runs and two windows, turned out to be his last to date. He broke the bones of his fingers right in five places and then had to do in Australia that require bone grafts - pieces of bone were removed from his wrist and grafted on his fingers.

IPL missed due to injury, and was not selected for the ODIs against England in September. "I had submitted a certificate of fitness before ODI series in England," he said. "I was ignored, even when RP Singh called holiday [in place of Zaheer Khan]." Nehra fingers are almost closed and the worst of them doubles, but was able to ride at full speed about four times a week in the last month and a half.

He was not nominated teams for the Challenger Trophy, a national tournament, which is India's best talent, one day, which will begin Oct. 10. This, he said, had very few opportunities left to prove form and fitness, and he prefers to play for a limited transfer of cricket, rather than a full season of first class, which could be heard on his body. "You want to prove my fitness, but then are not even good enough for every team Challenger Trophy.

"Now, if I do not have an option, I have to choose and play Ranji Trophy. If the Council allows it, I can go play in the Big Bash [Australian domestic Twenty20] or Pro-40 [40-South Africa during the competition. "
