Mohsin Khan, head of the Pakistan team, said choosing a youth team in the series of Zimbabwe will help in planning the war against Sri Lanka in United Arab Emirates next month.
Mohs had criticized the choice of an inexperienced side to tour Zimbabwe - the test only three of them fast bowlers and the other two rookies had only one game - but ended up winning the Pakistan Test and one dayers sweep.
"Overall, the team's performance is very satisfactory and although Zimbabwe was not a weak opposition, our guys played well and won all the games," said Mohsin theDawn Thursday. The tour ends with two Twenty20 matches, Friday and Sunday.
