The series of England home Test against South Africa in 2012, which could be another blow to the No. 1 ranking will be in direct competition with the Olympics and played in only three games. ECB has confirmed that West Indies will travel for a full tour of Australia and five ODIs.

Visit to South Africa in July and August were under pressure because of the London Olympics to be held in two weeks from late July and includes a number of restrictions on sporting events in competition, and also by a visit Australia one day series. The first test at The Oval will be played one week before the Games and the last of the Lord, who is an Olympic venue, takes place shortly after it's over. The Headingley Test is responsible for fighting against the head of gaming.

In 2008, a series of England and South Africa were the status of "icon", at the time meant that five papers in the series. 2009-10 series in South Africa, however, was only four games and was divided into 1-1, where the hosts are fighting back to win the final in Johannesburg.

At a time when the primacy of Test cricket is an important debate with such a large number reduced to three games is not a good omen, and suggests council did not pay more than lip service to the principle that money makes the rule. The proximity of the Olympics is out of control of the ECB, but the 13 ODIs, including another independent series of five matches against Australia, is balance, especially in a country where Test cricket is very popular.

After testing, South Africa will play five one-day internationals and three Twenty20 international in England. To act as a preparation for World Twenty20 which starts a week later in Sri Lanka with England as defending champions.

England home season begins May 17 and the first Test against the West Indies, is the Lord, after which still Trent Bridge and Edgbaston. West Indies then play three ODIs and T20. Just as the West Indies and South Africa have two warm-up matches before the test series begins, even if it matches in South Africa in Somerset is a two-day game followed by a trip of three days against Kent, before the first test.

England will also play in Scotland ODI, August 12 as part of the agreement that play each other and Ireland in two years. A date for this match has not yet been confirmed.

Cardiff, which has been given an Ashes test match in 2015 were divided into four years of great, hosted by Friends of Domestic Life T20 final day for the first time in August 25. CB40 is the Lord's finals again Sept. 15.
