Stuart Broad admitted he is unlikely to play again this year while recovering from a shoulder injury took against India, but has said it will not require surgery.

"The shoulder is still pretty sore. "It is not 100% confirmed, I will not be playing in India but I will only play if rehabilitation goes fantastically well.
"It 'a good news that I do not need surgery. It' s always an additional risk of surgery so that everything would be fine. It 'a recovery time of two months though so I need to get this right and make sure it's all over, and has no side effects with it. "
Broad injury means he will lose his experience as a captain in the promotion Twenty20s against the West Indies and Graeme Swann next door in his absence. Missing the match against India next month, leaving only four or five games before the English title of the defense of the World Twenty20 Sri Lanka in September.
