MS Dhoni has a Test average of 25.72 last year, while Matt Prior has shone both as batsman and wicketkeeper

For MS Dhoni is the toughest moments he had as an international cricketer. World Cup a record, but the tour of England has so far been the other extreme, he struggled for runs, fought behind the trunks and strategies as captain were interviewed. The third is probably an overreaction, and inevitable, given the results of the first two tests, but there is no doubt that the drummer and wicketkeeper Dhoni must raise his game looks even worse for him, and his counterpart in England, Matt Prior has made a vital contribution, especially with the bat. In both tests so far scored 199 runs in before Dhoni has two fifties and a hundred, while Dhoni even 50 races overall in four sets combined.

At the moment there is no doubt that before is the best wicketkeeper batsman-spinning. Average of tests 37.45 Dhoni is anything but mediocre, but a breakdown of the statistics reveal that the spread of this course is more unequal than before. Under the conditions of reception Dhoni was outstanding, averaging 43.20 and scoring three hundred and fifty years in 39 11 innings. Abroad, however, that the average is reduced by 10 runs in 33.37 with one century and 10 fifties in 52 innings. His average has dropped even further when hit outside the subcontinent: in the most favorable conditions for fast bowling, Dhoni averages 28.25 in 23 tests only, with a maximum of 92. It has a memorable entrance some of these countries, including 76 undefeated Lord in 2007, which saved the test and, finally, India won the series and 90 of Centurion last year, but there were many low scores to pull down the average.

And last year, as Dhoni was miserable: July 2010, an average of 25.72 has only 25 innings. During this time, only five of 16 tests have been played at home.

In fact, the year 2011 was terrible for the drummer Dhoni in both tests and ODIs, averaging 14.60 in tests and 31.60 in ODIs (well below his career ODI average 48.78). However, his half-century only in the format of 50 years was the biggest game of all - the World Cup final.

Before the statistics in the other, much more: the average of each year was much lower than 40 (the average for 2011 is up 70.85), his average at home (46.37) is better than the outside one ( 43.41), and did quite well in the subcontinent and, averaging 40.25 from seven trials. His series was only poor in South Africa in 2009-10, in search of 158 runs only seven innings.

Dhoni has helped provide technical training to the big play the short version of the game, but, and his tendency to play from the crease, caused him problems against pace bowling in the tests. This glitch has caused even more problems in more favorable conditions outside the subcontinent seamer: the overall average is 32.01 against the rhythm, but falls outside the subcontinent about 10 tracks, 22, 12. Against the back, however, their numbers much better.

The two bowlers who reported more tests Dhoni, Muttiah Muralitharan and Dale Steyn. Both have nailed four times, but Steyn is a better average against him, - 22.75 for 31 Murali Five fast bowlers have rejected three times, of which Corey Collymore and Fidel Edwards has the best average - Dhoni Collymore rejected three times in the 2006 Tour, while Edwards has had similar success earlier this year. Chris Tremlett has received three times including once in 2007 and twice in the Lord.

Before the show the statistics, is quite comfortable in both speed and spin - has received an average of 44.11 at hand, as he did even better against spin.

Only three bowlers have reported the first of three or more times for testing. One of them is in the current series: Sreesanth ability to swing the ball has helped him to account before the three, only 75 deliveries. All three were early dismissal of the prior inning, which suggests Dhoni Sreesanth bowling crease should be immediately before walking to the bat.

After 45 tests, average 45.10 Before an unemployment rate of the excellent conversion rate of fifty to several hundred, becoming the best hitter among wicketkeepers circulating today. Brad Haddin Dhoni and are next on the list, averaging around 40. The difference in half is not much, but during the previous period, more than any other wicketkeeper batsman, seemed capable of playing match-sleeved change more often than others in the table below.

Dhoni was obviously much on his plate as the fur and keep wicket, but given these two factors alone, there is no doubt about who is currently the best in cricket test. (Click here for a list of all time the best wicketkeeper-batsmen average.)
